When Annie Came to Visit
A Brain Aneurysm Survivor's Journey
by Kelli Schoen
Okay! I'll tell you the truth. Annie is not a human. Annie is a nickname for a medical condition called aneurysm. My best laymen's description of an aneurysm is that it is a bulging in a blood vessel.
I had several brain surgeries. One surgery was on February 14, 2009, and I almost didn't make it. My vessels fell apart is what they say. I suffered from a stroke.
